Nebraska Couple Arrested, Children Placed With DCF

Parents leave children alone in hotel room, charged with risk of injury.

 

Two people from Nebraska were arrested early this morning for leaving their children, ages 7-months and 2-years-old, unattended in a hotel room.

Tyler Hunter, 22, and Deborah Hundley, 27, of Lincoln Nebraska, were arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor.

At 2:49 a.m. the Ledyard Police Department received the report of two children left unattended in a room at the Two Trees Hotel and when officers responded, their investigation found the two children. The children were placed into the custody of the Department of Children and Families.

Hunter and Hundley will be arraigned at GA 10 New London today.
