No one was transported to the hospital after a three-car crash on Route 12 at Long Cove Road but police issued citations to Paul Kenyon, 26, of Briar Lane in Norwich with following too close and failure to maintain insurance.
Ledyard Police Lt. Michael Finkelstein said an investigation found that Kenyon’s vehicle traveling southbound on Route 12 when he struck the rear of a vehicle operated by Linda Miller, 58, of Route 12 in Gales Ferry, which was waiting to turn. Robert Gralton, 44, of Harvard Terrace in Gales Ferry, was traveling northbound on Route 12, was also struck.
The Ledyard Police, Gales Ferry Fire Department, Ledyard Fire Department, Ledyard Volunteer Emergency Squad, and L&M Paramedic responded.
