According to a news release from Ledyard Police, Justyn Sheline, 27, was arrested at New London Superior Court where he was appearing on unrelated charges, and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree larceny and one count of third-degree larceny. The charges are related to burglaries on Parkwood Drive and Friar Tuck Drive in Gales Ferry, as well as a theft from a relative's home.
Dylan S. Rushing, 21, was arrested in Groton and charged with one count of third-degree larceny and one count of sixth-degree larceny stemming from the burglary on Friar Tuck Drive and her role in the theft from Sheline's relative.
An extensive investigation that included the Ledyard and Waterford Police Departments and several tips from the public preceded the arrest. Sheline and Rushing were both presented in court on Friday.
Both arrested parties were presented at GA 10 for arraignment.
