Police Blotter: Car Careens Through Foxwoods Lot

Enforcement is Pending After Car Collides with Transformer, Two Vehicles

On Saturday, Feb. 26, at 2 a.m., police said a car driven by Blair Decou, 47, of 56 Coachman Pike, Ledyard, was traveling westbound on Trolley Lane at Foxwoods when it collided with a transformer, damaging the unit and causing power outages.

The vehicle, a 2002 Chevy Impala, continued into the Lot 10 parking lot, where police said it sideswiped a Buick LeSabre owned by Prakong Phuttsri, of Brooklyn, Conn., causing damage to the entire left side of the Phuttsri's car.

Decou's car finally came to rest after it struck the front end of an 2002 Audi owned by Leia Policarpio. The impact damaged the Audi and deployed Decou's airbag.
