Police Teach Life Lessons in the Classroom


Ledyard Police Officer Richard McSwain read children's books to groups of students at the Gallup Hill School on topics such as bullying and the importance of going to school. McSwain's previously scheduled appearance on Read Across America Day was interrupted so he visited with students Wednesday to make up for it.
