Police Tracking Robbery Suspect Near Ledyard

Suspect is wanted for carjacking and robbery in North Stonington.

The Ledyard and Connecticut State Police Departments are tracking a suspect who fled after a robbery in North Stonington this evening.

According to early reports, the suspect robbed someone in North Stonington near Route 2 and Wintechog Hill Road and then stole a car.The suspect crashed the stolen car into another vehicle and fled into the woods. The Mystic River Press is reporting the male suspect was last seen near 495 Norwich-Westerly Road. CSP K9 units are being used to track the suspect.
