Two Women Hospitalized After Crash on Rte. 117
Afternoon Mishap Ties Up Traffic Along Center Groton Road
Two women were injured in a two-car accident that occurred this afternoon shortly after 2 p.m. on Route 117 just south of the Lorenz Industrial Park entrance. Fire Police directing traffic at the accident scene said two women were transported in separate ambulances, and both vehicles were towed from the scene. The accident delayed traffic in both directions for about an hour.
