UPDATE: Ledyard police reported at 11:15 a.m. that Indiantown Road is reopened.
The high winds and driving rain made the Wednesday commute difficult, especially for one driver on Indiantown Road.
A tree fell onto a car that was headed down the road at the intersection with Elizabeth George Drive at about 9:30 a.m. The road is closed.
While there are isolated power outages in other towns, so far CL&P is reporting no outages in Ledyard.
