Last Day For Holiday Basket Sign Ups
The sign up date was extended through today due to Superstorm Sandy delays.
The season of giving and receiving is upon us.
The giving of your generosity and receiving the feeling of helping families from town have a great Holiday. The Town of Ledyard Social Services Department managed by Doris Fonner is announcing an extention of the Holiday Programs for the 2012 season. The donations have been being accepted as of Oct. 15 and the original closing date for appplications was Monday, Nov. 5 but now extended to November 15th.

Thanksgiving Baskets will be distributed on Monday, Nov. 19th from 1-4:30 , Christmas Baskets and Toy pickup will be on the same day - Thursday, Dec. 20th from 1-4pm. All donations distributed are based upon the donations received by the bureau.
Families that qualify need to register and submit application by the end of business on Nov. 15, 2012 at the Social Services/Youth Services Bureau in the basement of Town Hall. Any questions on eligabilty shoud be made by calling Doris at (860) 464-3254
