Ledyard High School OPEN HOUSE

Ledyard High School’s students all begin new classes in January, therefore a Second Semester Open House for parents will be held Thursday evening, February 16th beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Robert J. Gaucher Auditorium.  Instructional Specialist Amanda Fagan will open with an important presentation of information regarding the new “Common Core” and its implications for learning.  David Doyle, the Director of Guidance, will follow with a discussion of student success plans.  The rest of the “mini-school day” schedule is designed to give parents a micro-view of the day experienced by their young people.  Clubs, sports and parent support groups will have informational tables in the Cafeteria throughout the evening and the Career Center (Room 312) will be open.  (In the event of a cancellation due to snow, this event will be held on Thursday, February 23rd.)
