The Milton Fisher Scholarship is for Connecticut and New York City students
The Milton Fisher Scholarship for Innovation and Creativity is accepting applications through April 30, according to its website.
The four-year scholarship awards students with up to $5,000 per year and is open to students from Connecticut or New York City or students planning to attend school in either area.

According to the website, "exceptionally innovative and creative high school juniors, seniors and college freshmen" are invited to apply.
Six students were awarded Milton Fisher scholarships in 2011 and four honorable mentions. According to the website, they "were all students who showed unusual initiative and creativity in solving problems."
