Buonocore, Players Make Ledyard Proud In CT Hall of Fame Football Game

Great job representing the town last weekend by Ledyard High football coach Jim Buonocore and four Colonels players in the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame Classic Military Bowl.
Buonocore was the winning coach in the 15-14 victory.
The Military Bowl was played Saturday at Rentschler Field. The all-star game for high school seniors has 55 players on each team, one called Team National Guard and the other called Team Marines. Buonocore coached the Guard and Windsor's Rob Fleeting coached the Marines.
Playing on the Guard team and representing Ledyard were:

- Cal Karpi, DB
