Ledyard QB Ebdon Named ECC Athlete Of The Month
The Ledyard High School sophomore quarterback accounted for 11 touchdowns during a dominant month of October.
Ty Ebdon, Ledyard High School's starting quarterback, has been named the ECC Athlete of the Month for October.
Ebdon led the Colonels to a 3-1 record during the month. In October, he completed 34 of 56 passes for 688 yards and nine touchdowns and tacked on another two rushing touchdowns.
The sophomore shined the brightest though in a Nov. 1 game against rival Montville, where he threw a school-record five touchdown passes. For the season, Ebdon has thrown for more than 2,000 yards and 23 touchdown passes while leading the Colonels to a 7-2 record.
