Foxwoods Employees Support Tornado Relief

Team of employees gathered supplies for victims

A team of Foxwoods employees collected supplies for the vicitims of the recent Midwest tornadoes, announced in a press release.

Front desk agent Suzi Mansfield gathered her team, and they put together a trailer filled with sheets, blankets, pillows, towels of all sizes, bath mats and rugs, shower liners, toiletries and more from the hotel's stock, the press release says.

According to the release, Mansfield's son drove the supply-filled trailer out to Kentucky.

“We could not be more proud of our Team Members,” Vice President of Hotel Operations, Jason Guyot, said in the press release. “They always see the needs of individuals-whether it is our guests here at Foxwoods or complete strangers. It is remarkable to see them in action.”

The hotel staff also recently collected shoes for Soles4Souls and delivered them to the drop-off site at the Southeastern Connecticut Home Show earlier this month.
