'Scrappy Quilters' Send Warm Greetings

Group Prepares Hats and Scarves for Those in Need

Last Wednesday, the Ledyard High School "Scrappy Quilters" cut and tied fleece hats and scarves.

Half of them are on their way to the Gales Ferry Library "Mad Hatters," who are collecting warm & fuzzies to donate to local community service organizations.

The other half are heading to Champerlain, South Dakota, where they will be given to St. Joseph's Indian School Lakota (Sioux) children in need.
