Ledyard Center Nursery School

The Ledyard Center Nursery School is located in the rear of the Ledyard Congregational Church. Beth Ayer is the school's director. The school has programs for 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds and children who are 4 and 5. Although based in the church, the school has no religious affiliation. "Our philosophy is that a child's work is play," Ayer said. The classes go on regular field trips to places such as the library and fire station. Approximately 55 children attend the school.
