Ledyard Congregational Church
722 Colonel Ledyard Hwy, Ledyard, CT 06339
We are a loving faith community, sharing each other’s joys and burdens. Some of our newcomers said, “they really liveMore their faith, helping each other, really caring” and “this church has faith roots that run deep, like a giant oak; I feel that here”. We are a member of the United Church of Christ and an Open & Affirming Congregation. Whoever you are, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here. Established in 1725, the First Congregational Church of Ledyard conducts traditional worship services Sunday mornings at 9:30, followed by coffee and goodies. Look for the 1840’s colonial church in the town center. During the summer months an outdoor service is available as well. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. Children are welcome at worship services and may leave for Sunday School following the children's sermon. Rev. Catriona Grant is our very thoughtful and inspiring pastor. Music is important in our worship: senior and youth choirs, bells, and instrumentalists are very active. Our adult study sessions are a good way to learn and to make friends. Together, we learn to walk with God in Jesus' example, inspired by the Spirit. God be with you, friend.
