Ledyard Parks & Recreation Department offers a full slate of youth and adult recreational programs for every season.…More Under the guidance of Director Donald Grise, the department manages a wide range of parks and recreational facilities, including Colonel Ledyard Park, which features baseball, softball and soccer fields, basketball and tennis courts, a playground and a large picnic pavilion with barbecue pit. Other facilities include Highland Lake Park, Sawmill Park, Erickson Park, the Donahue Property, the Judge Crandall Complex, Clark's Field, Christy Hill Field, Pfizer Field, Erikson Park, Nathan Lester Park, Glacier Park, Aljen Heights and White-Hall Park & Forest. The department also runs the Senior Center in Gales Ferry.
