Ledyard Student Inducted Into ECSU's Social Work Honor Society

Eastern Connecticut State University has announced that graduating senior Delia Welge has been inducted into the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society.

Welge, a Ledyard resident, majored in social work.

According to the university, the society welcomed 12 new members on May 12.

Students studying social work at ECSU are provided with "the knowledge, values and skills necessary for beginning generalist social work practice...combining a liberal arts perspective with professional social work education in the classroom and in field settings throughout Eastern Connecticut," the college's news release says.
