Three days of prefect weather reigned over the 66th annual Ledyard Fair. It all began Friday with a moment of silence and playing of the pipes in honor of 9/11 victims (see video). What followed was a full weekend of livestock competitions, games, rides, a pie-eating contest and chess tournament, three pageants, philly cheesesteak sandwiches, fried dough and many other attractions.
