Field Trips, Games, Police, Firefighters Just Part Of The Fun
The Ledyard Parks and Recreation Department has playground programs for three age groups, which meet at different locations around town. They host themed activities, field trips and invite special guests like police officers and firefighters. Registration for Popcorn Kernals, kids 4-years-old to 6-years-old is still open.
Popcorn Kernals are 4-years-old to 6-years old and meet at the Gales Ferry School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. five days a week.
Colonels are entering 1st through 3rd and grades meet at Ledyard Center School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. five days a week.

Super Colonels are entering 4th through 8th grades and meet at Colonel Ledyard Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. five days a week.
