Daily Five: Scholarship Deadline and Mondays In May Fundraiser

1. Yesterday may have been the best day of the week if we’re talking about warm and sunny days. There’s a chance of showers, today, mainly after 9 a.m. and cloudy, with a high near 61, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight may have showers and possibly a thunderstorm with a low around 56.

3. The last day to order the Ledyard Middle School yearbook is fast approaching. The the last day to order is May 12th.

4. The Town of Ledyard will be conducting street sweeping operations through the month of May. Residents are asked to remove vehicles and other objects in the road shoulders along their frontage between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM on weekdays.

5. Every Monday in May, is having a fundraiser for the Ledyard High School sophomore class. Tell your server that you are there for the sophomores and Valentino’s will donate 10 percent of your sale to the sophomore class at LHS! The offer stands for dine in, take out or delivery.
