  2. The Ledyard High School boys soccer team fell 2-1 to Holy Cross High School in second-round state tournament action Monday at Blonder’s Field. Steven Servidio scored for the Colonels. A tough loss, but a very successful season overall. 
  3. A Juliet W. Long School fund-raiser tonight at Chili’s in Montville will help sixth-graders finance their field trip to Boston. 
  4. On Friday and Saturday evening, November 18-19, at 7:30 p.m. at in Gales Ferry, the Drama Department will present Edgar Lee's Masters “Spoon River Anthology.” Tickets are $5 and they will be available at the door the night of the performance.   5. Ledyard Animal Control Officer Kimlyn Marshall shared a sad story of a little dog who was lost and forgotten, but managed to find some comfort in her last days among good and caring people.
