Special Town Meeting on Wednesday, Used Book Sale, Student Riots
- Cloudy skies and warm today, with areas of dense fog. High near 65F. Winds SSW at 15 to 25 mph. Tonight mostly cloudy, with isolated thunderstorms developing overnight. Low 54F.
- Big week coming up in Ledyard. On Wednesday there will be a special town meeting to vote on the sale of a portion of the former Gales Ferry property. The sale is the first step toward allowing a CVS pharmacy to move into Gales Ferry.
- Then on Saturday, April 16, a grand re-opening celebration will take place at the Paddock. You may recall a fire closed the equestrian center on Rose Hill Road back in November. Watch for our report.
- The Groton Public Library book sale begins today and will continue through Thursday, April 14. Help support the library by finding great bargains on used books, CDs and DVDs!
