Five Things: Trade Winds Is Officially Official
Five things to know on Thursday, February 9.
1. Eat all the pasta you pasta-bly can tonight at . Owner Jason Crandall was granted permission to operate a public restaurant on Feb. 12 and he registered the name of the restaurant at Town Hall late Wednesday, so it’s officially official! Keep up with their weekly specials on Ledyard Patch.
2. Do you want to teach your children how to deal with bullies? The has some tips for you. They’re hosting three workshops this Sunday at 3 p.m. on the topic.
3. The libraries will be closed Feb. 20 for President’s Day but trash collection does not observe the holiday. Trash collection will be picked up according to the regular schedule that week.

4. Community Services Committee meets tonight at 5 in the Annex Meeting Room, the Economic Development Commission meets at 6 in Town Council Chambers, and is followed by the Zoning Commission at 7.
