Updated: Roads Slick, Use Caution

It's Largely Turned To Rain, But Ice Remains

Ledyard police are responding to calls for cars off the road but so far today nothing serious, said a dispatcher with the police department.

Shewville Road seems particularly slick, the dispatcher reported, but motorists throughout town should use caution while driving.

Ledyard Schools are closed today as the region gets yet another covering of snow. The Ledyard Parks and Recreation Department also has canceled programs for the day.
