Winter Storm Warning In Effect [with VIDEO]

Four to eight inches of snow accumulation are expected for inland New London County.

 

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for New London, Windham and Middlesex Counties until 6 a.m. Sunday.

It says, “a winter storm warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that eill make travel dangerous.

Four to eight inches of snow accumulation are predicted for New London County, although the shoreline may get less.

On a lighter note the warning says, “conditions will improve rapidly on Sunday and another chance of precipitation is in the forecast for New Year’s Eve but the amounts should be light.”
