Cocktail Reception to launch TIPPING A NATION with Dr. Clyde Rivers Honorary Ambassador to the Republic of Burundi

Tipping A Nation is a non-profit started in December 2010 in Mystic, CT by a group of people with a passion for bringing hope and solutions to impoverished nations that are in great need of basic life skills. Our goal is to create “Solution Centers” that will help train people in all aspects of daily living so they can help themselves create a better life. These “Solution Centers” will provide necessities such as health and hygiene, vocational training, micro-business development and access to the internet that will both equip them vocationally and instill hope of a better tomorrow.

What makes us different is that we partner with the leaders of nations for the next generation as well as those in need.  Through hands on training and on going mentoring we are committed to changing lives. We believe that transformation begins with strong leadership, but is fulfilled by strengthening the hands of the feeble. We will deliver hope for future generations by giving them solutions that work and change that lasts.

We have started our initial training of 41 young leaders from 17 provinces of Burundi Africa.  These students are the next leaders of Burundi and they are being trained in leadership, problem solving and character development to be “Solutionists.”  They are amazing champions who are already making a difference in their nation.
