Arrest Made in Dunkin' Donuts Burglary
Jewett City Man Charged With Attempting to Rob Coffee Shop
On Thursday, Nov. 10, at approximately 11:42 p.m., the Ledyard Police Department responded to the Dunkin Donuts on Route 12 in Gales Ferry, where an individual attempting to gain entry into the office portion of the store was reported.
Subsequent investigation by Ledyard Police and Troop E in Montvile led to the arrest of a male suspect at a Jewett City residence.
Roland Madore, 37, of Ashland Street in Jewett City was arrested and charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary in the 1st Degree, Criminal Attempt to Commit Larceny in the 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 1st degree.

Madore is being held on bond awaiting arraignment in New London Superior Court.
