Details Released in Alleged Ledyard Teacher Sex Assault Case

Allegedly, the teacher and student had sex at the school on several occasions.

Former Ledyard High School teacher William Friskey, 36, was ordered Monday to have no contact with a 18-year-old female student that he allegedly had sex with at the school on several occasions, WTNH News 8 reports. 

Friskey and the Ledyard High School student allegedly engaged in sexual encounters at the school and at Friskey’s East Lyme house, WTNH reports. 

When the alleged victim tried to end the relationship, Friskey would allegedly threaten to harm himself, WTNH reports.

After school officials became away of the incident, Friskey was placed on administrative leave, but records show he resigned effective July 2. He has been charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault.
