Ledyard Arrests July 26 – August 7

The following arrest information was supplied by the Connecticut State Police Troop E and the Ledyard police department. It does not indicate a conviction

 

July 27

At 7:11 a.m. police arrested Matthew Lambert, 26, of 1500 Route 12 in Gales Ferry, after “a domestic dispute verbal turned physical and arrestee smashed out window of victim’s car,” the report said. Lambert was charged with assault 3rd, threatening 2nd, breach of peace, criminal mischief 3rd. He was assessed a $5,000 cash bond and given a July 27 court date.

July 28

At 10:00 a.m. police arrested Mario D. Torres, 23, of 39 Montauk Avenue in New London. Torres turned himself in on a warrant “for a larceny that had occurred around Dec of 2011,” according to the report. Torres was released on a promise to appear and was given an August 8 court date.

At 5:09 police issued an infraction to Sarah Adams, 32, of 11 Osprey Drive in Gales Ferry for travelling too fast for conditions. Adams was travelling north on I-95 and “lost control and hit the metal beam guard rail” near exit 83 in New London, according to the report. There were no injuries reported.

July 31

At 11:07 a.m. police arrested Matthew D. Boardley, 26, of 47 Coachman Park in Ledyard was arrested and charged with breach of peace and assault 3rd: minor injury or intent to cause injury. Boardley “was arrested following a disturbance.” According to the report, “there are charges pending for the [victim],” who is Munkwon K. Benedict, 31, of 258 Birchfield Drive in Waterbury. Boardley was assessd a $2,500 cash bond and given an August 1 court date.
