A Montville man who wandered away from his group home in Uncasville Thursday has been found.
Montville Police Lt. Leonard Bunnell reported late this morning that Waterford Police have found Ernest Ailing, a resident of the Shantok Group Home, who wandered away from the residence at about 5 p.m. Thursday.
The Shantok Group Home is an assisted-living facility at 254 Route 32 in Uncasville.

Ailing, 61, is diabetic. Bunnell said Ailing was not in the best of shape when he was located, and has been taken to Backus Hospital.
At one point during the search police requested assistance from the Ledyard Police K9 Unit.
