Police Probing Break-In on Friar Tuck Drive
Police said someone removed an air conditioning unit to gain access to the home.
Ledyard Police are investigating a burglary that took place Friday evening at a home on Friar Tuck Drive in Gales Ferry.
According to a news release from Lt. Michael T. Finkelstein, police responded to a residential security alarm at the home and discovered that someone had removed an air conditioner to get in the house while the resident was gone for a short period. The Groton Town Police Department also responded with their K-9 unit.
It is not known if anything was taken from the residence.
