Patch caught up with new Town Clerk Patricia A. Riley last week in Town Hall and she was kind enough to answer a few questions.

Where did you grow up? Norwich

Family:  I am married to Dean Riley (10 Years).  We have two children together. Kaylee is 5 and Kelsey is 2.

Education: High School – Norwich Free Academy

College – Three Rivers Community College with Associates Degree in Business Administration Management

Why did you want to be town clerk in Ledyard:  To advance my career.  This is a great opportunity for me.  I love what I do.

Do you plan to make any changes right away?  I do have some projects in mind once I get settled in.

What do you enjoy most about the job?  Serving the community. I love interacting with the public.
