Ledyard residents are voting on the town's 2012-13 budget today. Polls are open until 8 p.m. and Registrar of Republican voters Nancy Lozier said that there has been a surprising turnout given the zero-increase budget in question.
Lozier said unregistered property owners are permitted to vote on the town budget today.
As of late afternoon, 144 of the 4,861 registered voters in District One had voted; and, 107 of 3,978 registered voters in District Two and Three had voted.
