Avery Point Graduates Six From Ledyard

UConn's Groton Campus Commencement Ceremony is Today at 4 p.m.

A Graduation Celebration will take place at 4 p.m. today on the UConn-Avery Point campus in Groton to honor all Avery Point students who will be graduating from the University this year.  The celebration includes students who graduated in December 2010, as well as those who will be graduating in May and August 2011. 

The Avery Point campus offers 4-year degree programs in American Studies, Marine Sciences, Maritime Studies and General Studies.  In addition, each year there are students in Storrs-based majors that finish up their final coursework at Avery Point; all of these students are invited to participate in the campus celebration.

Special guests today will include the Avery Point Advisory Board; History instructor Dale Tuller, who will lead the festivities by singing the Alma Mater, and John Sedensky, class of 2014, who will provide piano music during the reception.
