PHOTOS: Poster Contest Winners Meet Mayor

Winning posters were selected from among many entries.

Ledyard Center elementary school students in all grades endeavored to out-draw one another in a poster competition about recycling and environmentalism this month.

Two student posters, one from an uppper grade and another from a lower grade were selected for first place and the winners met with Mayor John Rodolico Friday. Rodolico let the students know that they should continue to strive to recycle more and to get their parents involved.
