Readers' Choice: Vote For Your Favorite Farmer's Market

We're compiling the best of New London, Groton, Waterford, Stonington, Montville and Ledyard. Tell us where you love to shop, eat, take your kids, which services you can’t live without. We want to know, and so do your neighbors!

We have brought back a bigger and better Readers’ Choice, just in time for summer! There's a total of 25 great categories, all designed to take advantage our readers’ local expertise.

Nothing beats fresh fruits and vegetables on a beautful summer day, and buying your produce from a local farm is even better. Over the past 20 years, farmer's markets in Connecticut have exploded in both numbers and popularity and it seems like more people choose to buy their strawberries, lettuce and tomatoes at local markets than these days.

So what is your favorite market? Cast your vote for the best farmers' market by 11:59 p.m. on August 17.

Denison on Sunday afternoon. I love the Ledyard market but the number of vendors is much larger at Denison.
